Terry Headbands

A headband is not a large wristband. It covers a brow rather than a joint, sits against skin that sweats faster than anywhere else on the body, and has to hold tension around a much larger circumference without gripping a skull.

So the width is set by coverage — enough terry above the eyebrow to intercept a stream, not so much that it slides down — and the tension is specified for a head rather than scaled up from a wrist band, which is the single most common mistake in this category.

Because the mark sits front and centre where every camera and every spectator sees it, we push hard for a jacquard knit here: the logo stretches with the band, cannot peel, and looks the same at the end of a season as at the start.
